Il Rifugio Malga Cavallera is located on the south-eastern slope of the Pale di San Martino, on the edge of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park, at an altitude of 1,680 meters.

Easily accessible, it is an ideal destination for lunch or a snack, and for those who want to experience a night in a refuge. It is also a valuable base for those who want to tackle the numerous climbing routes or hiking trails in the area.
Furthermore, thanks to its privileged position just 40 minutes from Forcella d'Oltro, it can be a stopping point on a picturesque variant of the Alta Via n°2 of the Dolomites.

We offer hospitality that respects the mountain ecosystem in which the hut is located, using renewable energy and offering products that are, whenever possible, organic and preferably from a short supply chain.
